  • Have you ever driven a Ferrari?

Used Prestige Cars like this Ferrari 360 Coupe are available at Car Link in Bournemouth

Somehow, people tell us that driving a Ferrari is a completely different experience from any other driving moments they have enjoyed. Well, it is a Ferrari! In this case, we’re talking specifically about a very rare example of that rarefied breed of motoring thoroughbred. We currently have a Ferrari 360 Modena amongst the superb selection of prestige and classic used cars for sale, here at our Car-Link premises in Bournemouth.

Some folk use the term classic to describe the merely fine, but we prefer to attach it to the truly outstanding. The Ferrari 360 two-seater sports car was only produced between 1999 and 2005, and the Modena was the first of its ilk. It was named Modena after the birthplace of Enzo Ferrari, and the model we currently have on offer was registered in 2000, has the manual gearbox, and has covered less than 32,000 miles and passed through the hands of just a trio of lucky owners.

It is described as a mid-engined, rear wheel drive, V-8 powered coupe. It also features an entirely new space-frame chassis made of aluminium. These are simply facts, as you'd quickly appreciate the moment you slipped behind the wheel and took it onto the roads and lanes of Dorset. Back in May 1999, when it was first road tested by Motor Trend magazine it was memorably described as “a raging stunner” and readers were told to expect “nothing less than sheer handling brilliance”. It was also noted that the passenger compartment was considerably roomier than that of the preceding F355 and that the ergonomics were also noticeably enhanced.

Age has surely simply proved these views but, in reality, you should see for yourself, and also take the chance to admire the superb Grigio Silver paintwork and stunning burgundy leather interior. You can find out much more here and then do call us at Car-Link on 01202 48 11 99 to organise your chance to view this car – one that truly deserves the epithet of “classic”.
